The Senior Finance Manager – Corporate Functions partners directly with the CFO and executive leadership across Information Technology, Legal, Regulatory Affairs & Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Corporate Development, and the Office of the CEO to deliver full financial stewardship over the company’s enabling functions. This role provides financial planning, analysis, reporting, and business partnership to improve cost visibility, optimize spend, and enhance accountability across all corporate areas. The manager will also drive analytical support for strategic initiatives, M&A integration, ERP and automation projects, and corporate efficiency programs, ensuring disciplined financial management aligned with growth and compliance objectives.

 

Full Time Remote Opportunity must be able to travel to our New Jersey and Mid West locations as needed.

Responsibilities

 

Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis

  • Own all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial close for IT, Legal, Regulatory Affairs & Compliance, HR, Finance, Corporate Development and other Corporate Functions.
  • Lead variance analysis, head-count and operating expense tracking, and ensure timely insight into trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Consolidate corporate function results into management reports and dashboards for CFO and executive review.
  • Develop and maintain driver-based financial models to forecast run-rate, vendor costs, project spend, and savings initiatives.
  • Support Board and Audit Committee materials by providing concise summaries of corporate cost trends and strategic investments.

Business Partnership & Strategic Advisory

  • Serve as primary finance business partner to functional leaders including CIO, General Counsel, Compliance, CHRO, and Head of Corporate Development.
  • Provide financial insight and decision support on technology investments, legal settlements, compliance programs, compensation initiatives, and M&A activities.
  • Support business cases for new initiatives, including ROI modeling, scenario analysis, and impact on EBITDA and cash flow.
  • Assist in structuring and evaluating partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisition targets in collaboration with Corporate Development.

Systems, Process & Controls

  • Partner with IT and Accounting on ERP implementation, system integrations, and automation to streamline reporting and approvals.
  • Establish strong financial controls and governance over corporate spend, software licensing, and professional services engagements.
  • Implement cost center and project accounting frameworks to improve transparency and audit readiness.
  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization of reporting processes across corporate functions.

Compliance, Legal & Regulatory Support

  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to align financial processes with accounting and business controls, and data protection requirements.
  • Support Regulatory Affairs and Compliance teams with budget planning for audits, filings, and external counsel.
  • Assist in forecasting and tracking costs related to licensing, regulatory submissions, and compliance initiatives.
  • Provide financial input into risk management, D&O insurance, and corporate governance matters.

Corporate Development & Finance Support

  • Partner with CFO and Corporate Development team on valuation models, synergy analyses, and due diligence for M&A and licensing transactions when appropriate.
  • Support capital planning, scenario modeling, and strategic initiative ROI across the corporate portfolio.
  • Contribute to company-wide long-range financial plans and corporate overhead allocation methodologies.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or controllership, with exposure to multiple corporate functions.
  • Direct IT Financial Management
  • Strong understanding of technology and G&A cost structures, cross-functional allocations, and corporate overhead management.
  • Proven experience working in a multi-entity, matrixed organization or public company environment.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • CPA, CMA or Master’s Degree

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging senior leadership.
  • Deep understanding of budgeting, variance analysis, project costing, and governance frameworks.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Collaborative, disciplined, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-changing environment.
  • Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus
