Must be licensed Pharmacy Technician in Indiana or have an Indiana Tech in Training license.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Pharmacy Shipping Associate is responsible for packing and shipping prescriptions according to client specifications and is responsible for other duties assigned.

 

SHIFT: 8:00 am-4:30 pm

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Perform routine and professional pharmacy functions.
  • Accurately pack and ship prescription orders for Eagle Pharmacy in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for stocking freezers with gel packs.
  • Follow all procedures and pack-out processes when shipping an order.
  • Respect and follow HIPAA and privacy law guidelines, and any other local or federal laws.
  • Follow and aid in enforcement of all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform Quality Assurance checks on automated technology specific to pharmacy equipment and shipping requirements
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly work site.
  • Responsible for keeping an adequate stock of boxes and supplies at shipping station.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of logistics experience
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • One (1) year of previous pharmacy experience with exposure to fulfillment of prescription orders

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Ability to lift 20lbs
  • Ability to work in a standing environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously
