The Inside Sales Team Lead (TL) will spend approximately 50% of their time on the phone as an Inside Sales Representative (ISR). The other 50% of the time the TL/QM will assist in monitoring team activity and effectiveness, perform call monitoring, handle escalations, expedite tickets issued by the teams, and assist in communication with the client’s field salesforce management. This position is 100% remote. The actual percentage of time spent on TL and ISR functions will be based on the client and program assignment.

Fullly Remote Role Must be able to work the hours of 9-5:30PM ET Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

  • Monitor team or group performance to meet or exceed daily, weekly, monthly goals established by management team
  • Participate in training, daily monitoring, coaching, and critiquing of team members
  • Motivate and encourage agents through positive communication and feedback
  • Assist and provide guidance to staff for handling call escalations
  • Provide administrative support to the Contact Center District Manager and/or support staff relative to department
  • Troubleshoot problems until resolved
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
  • Use the time reporting system, signing, and reporting all exception time on a weekly basis
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of client program expectations, KPIs, and policies
  • Perform all duties of an ISR - utilize training and approved materials to deliver comprehensive skilled sales presentations based on program goals, target profile and target needs without using a call script
  • Contact and deliver presentations to a defined list of HCPS within assigned territories
  • Successfully deliver presentations via multiple digital media and channel, i.e. co-browsing, video details, video and WebEx conferencing, phone, email etc.
  • Mandatory adherence to training, territory management, compliance, reporting and regulatory requirements
  • Understands and utilizes Telephony and CRM systems for maximize efficiencies. Records information as outlined in program business rules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Three (3) years demonstrated sales success in Pharmaceutical Sales, medical or related clinical experience
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Inside sales experience preferred
  • Experience in study and delivery of highly technical clinical/scientific material
  • Leadership experience
  • Experience with OPDP, PDMA, cGMP adverse events
  • Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, Visio
  • Veeva and/or Salesforce experience preferred 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
  • Ability to successfully engage with healthcare providers virtually via phone and video conferencing
  • Ability to access multiple systems via use of dual monitors
  • Quick learner synthesizes disease state and product information to promote products within compliance constraints
  • Demonstrates persistence, overcomes obstacles, demonstrated gatekeeper skills and ability to navigate a physician office via the phone
  • Strong sales skills, excellent written and oral presentation skills, and active listening skills
  • Strong demonstrated organizational territory and time management skills; able to prioritize work depending on territory objectives
  • Wiliness and experience in participating in video conferencing
  • Performance orientation demonstrates initiative and is self-motivated. Ability to work independently and as a productive part of the team with little direction from the Manager.
  • Ability to train and monitor scientific clinal presentations
  • Ability to provide feedback and demonstrate a variety of coaching methods
  • Adaptable, flexible, and readily adjusts to changing departmental and business needs
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality
  • Ability to travel as required for training, sales meetings, etc.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to remain seated for long periods of time while using the telephone and computer
  • Extensive keyboarding, switching from multiple applications and use of phone is necessary to be successful.  (Headsets are available for hands-free phone capability)
